A week later I received an email that stated that the damage was not caused in the garage (surprise-surprise!) and the hotel won’t take responsibility. Lynn Kiklevich got active, threatening me not to share the experience, as it might cause legal action. For days I heard nothing and wrote a couple more emails making clear that I was not willing to let this go and would be willing to share my experience in online reviews. I called the hotel immediately and learned that they would "investigate" the case. At the first stop I recognized a huge scratch on the back of the car, clearly caused by someone driving backwards hitting something. On the day of our departure, I was busy packing the car and taking care of my daughter and left the garage without inspecting my vehicle in detail. We stayed a week at the Hotel Fairmont Heritage Place –– Franz Klammer Lodge and left our car with their valet service. I would absolutely stay here again but will probably stay somewhere in Telluride proper next time to compare.… Overall, this place is fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The garage is VERY tight and they had to guide me in and out of the space each time we left which was a little nerve-wracking. Because of COVID, the normally included valet parking is now self parking in the garage. The only downside is having to use multiple elevators or stairs to get to the plaza level for potty trips. Dogs are only an additional $20/night which I thought was very reasonable (and no size restrictions!). We traveled with our Standard Poodle and she was warmly welcomed (they even had a large bed and some bowls waiting for her in the room). Really appreciated the humidifiers in the bedrooms and main living space. Beds are medium-firm but linens are pretty cheap quality. The bedrooms were both a great size and bathrooms were huge for a hotel, both with giant soaking tubs.

Loved that most of the windows opened to let in fresh air. Dining room can seat 6 easily and the living room was very comfortable and had a great gas fireplace. There were also little things like food storage containers and some spices.

There is a full kitchen with high end appliances (hello Viking and Sub-Zero!) as well as all the pots/pans/utensils you could need. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence and were pleasantly surprised by how large and well thought out everything was.
